THE STORY BEHIND NOMSIE SINGS

I started writing
because I had things to say.

Long before there was a song, there were poems — written through different seasons of life, carrying pain from the past, the weight of the present, and the hope of what could still come.

Poetry was never just
something I wrote.

01

The teenage years

I started writing poetry in my teens. It became a place to put the things I could not always explain — thoughts, feelings, memories, anger, sadness, questions and dreams.

Sometimes the page was the only place where everything could exist at once.

02

A way through

The poems changed as life changed. Some came from old wounds. Some came from what was happening right then. Others came from imagining something better.

THEN SOMETHING CHANGED

I discovered Suno.

And suddenly, I could hear what some of those poems might become.

The words were still mine. The feelings were still mine. But now they could move beyond the page and become something people could listen to.

WHAT NOMSIE SINGS IS

Not one sound.
Not one story.

It is a collection of feelings, perspectives and moments — some personal, some imagined, some rooted in the world around us.

01

Feeling

The emotion comes first. The song has to mean something before it sounds like anything.

02

Story

Every piece has somewhere it came from — a memory, an observation, a question or an imagined life.

03

Sound

Suno opened another door: letting those written words become melodies, arrangements and songs.

04

Connection

The final part belongs to the listener. Once a song leaves the page, someone else can make it their own.

THE CREATIVE PATH

From a thought
to something you can hear.

01

Write

A feeling, memory or idea becomes a poem.

02

Shape

The words are refined until they say what they need to say.

03

Create

Suno helps turn the written work into music.

04

Release

The song leaves my hands and becomes part of someone else's moment.

Some words survive
because we write them down.

And sometimes, after years of living on the page, they become songs.
